  • Council of PTAs

    The Birdville Council of PTAs 2021–22 President Candice Bishop, Fifth Vice President Clothes Connection Cathy Langston, and acting Sixth Vice President Supply Depot Melissa Flowers were recognized for their outstanding leadership of the Birdville Council of PTAs, Clothes Connection and Supply Depot.? 

    RHS Boys Basketball

    Richland High School's Boys Basketball team under the direction of Head Coach Danny Henderson was recognized for their successful season. The teams’ honors include Bi-District Champions, Area Champions and qualified for the Regional Quarter-Finalists. 

    VASE Students

    Nineteen students from Birdville, Haltom, Richland and Shannon high schools were recognized for their artwork advancing to the Texas Association of Art Educators’ Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE). They are: Valeria Aguayo, Callum Aspass**, Abby Benham, Brooke Bohannon**, Josh Daniels, Jasmine Grant**, Clarissa Kotera, Maddie Mayo, Claudia Medina, Lauren Moore***, Sara Morales Cano, Eddie Pulido**, Lilian Seals, Danyelle Sedders, Isabel Shuck, Nayla Singleton**, Emily Smay**, Sara Uribe, and Hannah Vice**.

  • Approved the administrative appointment of Charles W. “Billy” Neal as principal of Richland Middle School.

    • Facilities, maintenance and transportation supplies from multiple vendors.

    • BOK Financial, NA for oil and gas mineral property management services. 

    Approved the final payment to: (Funds come from Bond 2018 funds) 

    • Garrett Demolition, Inc. for demolition of Major Cheney Elementary School. 

    Approved the supplemental plumbing preventative maintenance work from Gliden Industries.
