Summary of Actions

  • Approved the donations from: 

    • Waste Connections to Haltom High School; 

    • Texas Roadhouse to BCTAL Blooms; 

    • Education Advanced, Inc. to Haltom High School; and 

    • ONEOK, Inc. to BCTAL Blooms. 

    Approved the 2022–23 Campus Improvement Plans. 

    Approved additional T-TESS appraisers. 

    Approved Mark Thomas and Paige Curry as the superintendent’s designees to review and submit staff requests for the TEA Secure Environment access (TEASE) to the Texas Education Agency.  

    Approved the Design Development Phase for the Shannon High School renovations at the Denton Highway property. 

    Approved budget amendments. 

    Approved the 2022–23 budget amendment for campus 2021–22 rollover funds. 

     

Personnel Report

  • Approved the request for sanction of a teacher certificate for abandonment of contract. 

     

Public Hearing

  • Conducted a hearing for the 2021–22 Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) report.?¹í¹È×ÓÍø received the highest rating available, Superior?Achievement. 

     

Bids/Contracts/Final Payments Awarded

  • Approved the bid/purchase for:  

    • Custodial Supplies, Industrial Paper, PPE and Child Nutrition paper and cleaning products from multiple vendors. 

    Approved the final payment to: 

    • TDR Contractors, Inc. for HVAC replacements and renovations at Haltom High School.
