    Monday  (Theme: “Peace Out To Drugs!”/70’s Attire Or Tie-Dye Day)

    • NRH PD is invited to come to the campus as their schedule allows during drop-off.
    • Students may wear 70’s attire or tie-dye.
    • Information will be shared on the announcements about Red Ribbon Week theme.
    • Red Ribbon Week theme “Be Kind To Your Mind. Live Drug Free!” will be on the marquee.
    • Coloring sheet (Be Kind To Your Mind, RRW Official Logo) will be given to the teachers on Monday of the previous week. They will be turned in to the counselors for the PTA Red Ribbon Week volunteers to hang up.
    • All scholars and staff will receive a numbered red ribbon from the district. Each day during the morning announcements five numbers will be called and students wearing ribbons with those numbers will receive a prize from Mrs. Malone.
    • A jar of red items will be shown on the announcements (and possibly in the lunchroom or library). Classes will submit a guess via Google Form on how many items are in the jar. The class with the closest guess without going over the number will win the jar on Friday.
    • There will be a post about RRW on GVE Facebook page.
    • Teachers will take pictures of their dressed-up scholars and put them in the counselor photo drive.

     

    Tuesday  (Theme: “I Mustache You To Make Healthy Choices!”)

    • NRH PD is invited to come to the campus as their schedule allows during drop-off.
    • PTA is purchasing mustaches for each scholar and students may wear their mustaches.
    • Information will be shared on the announcements about the Red Ribbon Week theme.
    • During the announcements there will be drawings for five students who are wearing their red ribbons.
    • Scholars will continue sending class guesses for the jar.
    • RRW pictures of scholars and staff that participated in Monday’s dress-up day are posted on GVE.
    • Teachers will take pictures of their dressed-up scholars and put them in the counselor photo drive.
    • There will be a post about RRW on GVE Facebook page.

     

    Wednesday  (Theme: “Hats Off To Living Right!”/Hat or Crazy Hat Day)

    • NRH PD is invited to come to the campus as their schedule allows during drop-off.
    • Students and staff may wear a hat or a crazy hat.
    • Information will be shared on the announcements about the Red Ribbon Week theme.
    • During the announcements there will be drawings for five students wearing their red ribbons.
    • Scholars will continue sending class guesses for the jar.
    • RRW pictures of scholars and staff that participated in Tuesday’s dress-up day are posted on GVE.
    • Teachers will take pictures of their dressed-up scholars and put them in the counselor photo drive.
    • There will be a post about RRW on GVE Facebook page.

     

    Thursday  (Theme: “Too Smart To Start!”/Picture And Nice Clothes Day)

    • NRH PD is invited to come to the campus as their schedule allows during drop-off.
    • Students and staff may wear their nice clothes.
    • Information will be shared on the announcements about the Red Ribbon Week theme.
    • During the announcements there will be drawings for five students who are wearing their red ribbons.
    • Scholars will continue sending class guesses for the jar.
    • RRW pictures of scholars and staff that participated in Wednesday’s dress-up day are posted on GVE.
    • Teachers will take pictures of their dressed-up scholars and put them in the counselor photo drive.
    • There will be a post about RRW on GVE Facebook page.

     

    Friday  (Theme: “Don’t Get Caught Sleeping! Say No To Drugs!”/Comfy Pajama Day)

    • NRH PD is invited to come to the campus as their schedule allows during drop-off.
    • Students and staff may wear school appropriate pajamas.
    • Information will be shared on the announcements about the Red Ribbon Week theme.
    • During the announcements there will be a drawings for five students who are wearing their red ribbons.
    • The winner of the jar of red items will be announced.
    • RRW pictures of scholars and staff that participated in Thursday’s dress-up day are posted on GVE.
    • Teachers will take pictures of their dressed-up scholars and put them in the counselor photo drive.
    • There will be a post about RRW on GVE Facebook page.
