    Monday  (Theme: “Use Your Head, Don’t Do Drugs!”/Wear Hats Or Crazy Hair)

    • Students and staff may wear hats or crazy hair.
    • Morning announcements will be given about this year’s theme.
    • Main hallway will be decorated with balloon arches at the entry doors.   
    • Building will be decorated outside with red ribbons on trees and a drug free slogan on the fence.
    • Students will make a pledge to be drug free by signing the banner in the hallway. 
    • A guest speaker from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County will speak to students about drug awareness during Specials.
    • All students will receive a red “Be Kind To Your Mind. Live Drug Free!” ribbon.

     

    Tuesday  (Theme: “Team Up Against Drugs!”/Wear Your Favorite Team Jersey Or Shirt)

    • Students and staff may wear their favorite team jersey or shirt.
    • Morning announcements will be given about this year’s theme.
    • Each class will guess the number of red balls in the jar. The top 3 classes with the closest guess will win a “Be Kind To Your Mind. Live Drug Free!” dog tag.
    • All students will receive a “Be Kind To Your Mind. Live Drug Free!” sticker.

     

    Wednesday  (Theme: “Be A Hero Every Day. Be Drug Free!”/Wear Camo)

      • Students and staff may wear camo clothing.
      • Morning announcements will be given about this year’s theme.
      • Each class will guess the number of red balls in the jar. The top 3 classes with the closest guess will win a “Be Kind To Your Mind. Live Drug Free!” dog tag.
      • All students will be given a “Be A Hero Every Day. Be Drug Free!” camo bracelet.

     

    Thursday  (Theme: “Too Bright For Drugs!”/Wear Neon Or Bright Colors)

    • Students and staff may wear neon or bright colors.  
    • Morning announcements will be given about this year’s theme.
    • All students will be given Red Ribbon Week bookmarks to color.
    • Top 3 winners of the guessing game will be announced and all students in the classroom will be given a “Be Kind To Your Mind. Live Drug Free!” dog tag.
    • All students will be given a Red Ribbon Week pencil.

     

    Friday  (Theme: “Twist And Shout, Drugs Are OUT!”/Wear Clothes From The  50’s)

    • Students may wear clothes from the 50’s era.
    • Morning announcements will be given about this year’s theme.
    • All students will participate in the annual “Twist And Shout, Drugs Are Out!” dance competition during Specials. Winners will be given a prize.
    • Pictures will be taken of winners of the Twist & Shout dance competition for the yearbook.
    • All students will be given a Red Ribbon Week bookmark.
